Newville is a borough in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, United States. The borough is located west of Carlisle. The population was 1,376 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Harrisburg–Carlisle metropolitan statistical area. Newville is served by the Big Spring School District. This leisurely trail now offers informative signage about the area’s agriculture and Civil War history.
